The Los Altos-River Islands Invitational is a Division B and Division C Satellite (virtual) Science Olympiad Tournament hosted by Los Altos High School Science Olympiad with support from River Islands High School Science Olympiad. The tournament is designed for newer teams seeking an opportunity to participate in Science Olympiad without the burden of providing volunteers or paying high registration fees. Our volunteers work hard all year round to make sure we provide an accessible and quality Science Olympiad experience for all.

- Well-designed events (minimal set-up work for coaches and maximum enjoyment for students). We will make every reasonable effort to guarantee that each event is fair and sufficiently challenging.
- Clear and quick communication. We are proud to maintain a <24 hr email response period. We believe coaches should be able to sit back and watch the magic happen!
The 2025-2026 Satellite Tournament was sponsored by Scio.ly, and it brought together over 800 middle and high school students, coaches, and volunteers. Congratulations to all who attended!
